The B2B meetings begin

Representatives from 35 international companies who have come as invited purchasers to WORLD MARITIME WEEK, have already begun the B2B meetings scheduled in their agendas. From ten o’clock in the morning and throughout today and tomorrow, a total of 458 meetings will be held in a space dedicated expressly for this purpose next to the exhibition area. Shipowners and shipbuilders arrived this morning from countries like the Philippines, Indonesia, Germany, Greece, Denmark, the United Kingdom, Iran, France, Belgium, Morocco, Turkey, Cyprus, Egypt, Holland, Vietnam and Mexico, among others.

Indeed, the B2B meetings represent one of the great strengths of this international maritime industry meeting, as they make it possible for sellers and buyers to sit down and make deals. After all, World Maritime Week aims to be a high-performance business space, where personal relationships between prescribers and suppliers come first.

The international delegation will have two agenda-packed days at BEC. The arranged meetings will be held throughout the morning, with a mid-morning break and an hour and a half stop to have lunch and visit the exhibition area. B2B meetings will continue in the afternoon, although there will also be free time to explore the region, go sightseeing and enjoy the city.
