World Maritime Week Awards 2023
At World Maritime Week, we strongly believe in the importance of recognising the achievements of the players who drive the maritime sector forward in style. Honouring the hard work, effort and commitment of maritime industry professionals should always be cause for celebration!
That is why last we launched in 2023 the 1st edition of the World Maritime Week Awards, which was an opportunity to celebrate the successes of the maritime sector, rewarding actors who contribute to the continuous improvement of this industry.
A special event that was hold on 22 March 2023 at 18.15 at Torre BEC Restaurant; where it was possible to enjoy an exclusive cocktail and live music, together with a network of professionals who value transparency, competitiveness, transformation and innovation in the maritime sector.
Awards were presented in five categories, each one linked to the maritime world in one way or another, but always with the sea as the common denominator.
Meet the awarded!
- SINAVAL Prize: Artemis Technologies.
- EUROFICHING Prize: Alakrana, Echebastar.
- FUTUREPORT Prize: Port Authority of Vigo.
- OEC Prize: Jesús María Blanco – Industrial Engineer, Professor at the Engineering School of Bilbao in the University of the Basque Country and driver of the ‘Erasmus Mundus REMPlus’ Master´s course.
- Maritime Sector Leader Prize: Javier lópez de la Calle, ex General Manager of BMF.
