CABFishMan
CABFishMAN aims to facilitate the cooperation by key actors in small-scale fisheries (SSF) to address transnational challenges that improve:
- Protection of marine resources through better spatial distribution of knowledge of SSF to progress towards an ecosystem-based management approach.
- Biodiversity conservation by identifying and providing a quantitative assessment of ecosystem services.
- Advances in knowledge of the impact of SSF on biodiversity and ecosystem services.
- Cooperation across various actors (regional, national, etc.) to propose solutions for the Atlantic and to increase their ability to develop joint proposals within the Atlantic Strategy Action Plan.
- The coexistence of SSF with marine conservation.
